this proxy bidding bothers me to no end. My girlfriend and i were planning on outbidding this guy for ddr solo 2000. We had 700 lined up and transportation to LA to pick it up. With 15 seconds left we added 200 dollars to the previous max bid and BOOM!! i was automatically outbid by the same bidder because of the danm proxy bidding. That just seems a tad unfair. also they have a dance mainiax machine that was only at 1.25 for 3 days. i bid my personal limit (200) and BOOM! i was automatically outbid. The entire idea of proxy bidding bothers me. Auctions are supposed to be like "hey i slid in at the last second and bought it for .10 more" but the proxy bidder doesnt have to even be attentive. Here we were patiently waiting for the clock to get down so no one could slide in a bid, only to be dissapointed. So in conclusion i propose we boyott ebay.com (that is until i find something else i want to bid on) btw if any of you wanna try to bid on the dance maniax arcade game it is only at 200.
