Subject: strange facts about the year 2000

as the year is comming to a close, I thought we could all put some facts about the year 2000 here. They can be personal, just intersting, or neither.

My two facts are:

1. I haven't had my hair cut at the hairdressers at all this year.
It was Hull's 700th Anniversary of being a chartered city.
