Different children is all. My niece loves WWF. She used to love Barbie... not sure if this is a step in the right direction or not. She also collects Beanie Babies, so if any of you have some to offload (mint condition only, mind)...
Getting back on track, I seem to remember that the saturday morning wrestling on TV was pretty much the same as WWF, only on a shoestring... had that 'knocked up in your garden shed' look about it that made Doctor Who / Blake's 7 the cult shows that they are. I reckon WWF has just introduced an element of crassness and cynical market exploitation to what everyone already knew to be pantomime. What we really seem to resent is that the 'wrestlers' are getting rich from being dickheads.
