Subject: Eyesight and PPS

My wife was suffering from poor eyesight (long
distances), headaches, inabaility to read small print,
whatever prescription her lenses had. This had got
worse over the years, but she was still able to work
and function normally.
Then when PPS was diagnosed she went through a large
number of tests, including visiting eye specialists.
They discovered she had weak eye muscles, which meant
that she was cross-eyed at times, even if this was not
noticeable. There was no statement on whether this has
to do with PPS.
Now she wears prism lenses. If I understand correctly
these have a series of lines/ridges not visible to the
naked eye, which help the muscles do their work.
They work perfectly, in combination with a progressive
bifocal facility - she feels better than 15 years ago.
Hope this helps, good luck with your visit.
J
