Are you really learning Japenese?
I've sometimes thought it would be easier learning a language that had different written characters.. so you could learn their pronounceation without confusing it with English. My favorite written characters would probably be Arabic.. all flowing and interesting shapes.

I am currently attempting Dutch which has all these awful double meanings and 'if's'. When changing tenses they sometimes change letters in the -middle- of the word... but not always...and f is prounced as a v.. but v is pronounced as a v.. unless.. Ugh. so confusing.
But I'm told English is one of the most difficult languages to master.. I'm glad I already speak it.

And.. my spleen is good.. feeling somewhat like strawberry butter...but 'tasting' more like warm icecubes...
