Not australia. Think North America - think NORTH. If it doesn't come to you, it starts with a C... Jus gotta love guessing games!

Ya - Tamora's got Alanna, Daine, and her Circle of Magic cast... she did the Lioness (Alanna) series, then the Immortal (Daine) series, then she's done the Circle of Magic (Briar, Sandry, Daja, Tris) series, and now she's doing the Circle Opens series, but I can't remember any chars.

LOTR DOES drag - I am not too ashamed to admit that I did just skim over some of the more factual things (the ones with all the place/place description things) unless I read ahead and then ventured back to see what the place looked like - if the place was used in the book. Lots of stuff was described that didn't really come into play. The songs and stuff I skipped over, for the most part - I'm going back and reading them, a bit (book reports :) and they are creative! Specially the one they sing when Boromir croaks and they've put him in the boat and sent him on his merry way down the waterfall...

There was this story I read, from a cat's point of view (it WAS a mystery) where the cat was named Moxie... Guy cat, I *think* he was black, I forget the author tho....
