I wonder if this is the one where they can't bring her back,
maybe parttially, and Michael takes her on a boat sailing
and gives her a shot and gives her to Section 4 to bring her
back, but without memories. While on the boat for several
days, they get married. I can't help with the author or name
of the story, but maybe someone else will remember it with this added to it.
