Subject: HELP PLEASE!! Looking for a story

This is a M/N story, I had it but lost it somehow and i never can remember the name of it. Michael and Nikita are no longer in Section but they are in New York i think and they don't know the other is there until Michael's boss or something like that discover Nikita at a restaurant and see's her paintings and he want to show her paintings to Michael who is also a painter.. So they meet and Nikita freaks out...But she gets shot while trying to help a woman and is blinded and Michael takes care of her.
I remember most ofthe story all but the darn name of it and the author...Any help would be most appreciated.
