Yes, old S/D was perfect. However, for as long as we are denied that, I would happily see Angel/Dru. Dru - even more so than Darla (who is far more tougher mentally) - badly needs some attention and affection after the debacle in "Crush." Angel - under the right circumstances - could provide that. If he could lie down with Darla, he can certainly lie down with Dru. He owes Drusilla big time and I feel that that entitles her to whatever she needs from him.

Not sure how Darla (whom I love, don't get me wrong) would fit in here; but I can't get over how wonderful Angel and Drusilla were as sire/childe, partners in crime and madness, and as lovers (although we weren't permitted to see much of this). They even somewhat resemble each other and dress in a complimentary fashion, i.e. leather and lace combo. They were even more deliciously evil together than S/D, as witnessed in "Innocence", and "I Only Have Eyes for You." And, yes, there would be some revenge involved; Dru on Spike (and Buffy) and Angel (once he finds out about B/S) on Spike (and Buffy). But that is only part of what I want to see go down. I'd want to see A/Dru even if getting revenge never comes into play.
