Oi, I know!! That's another side-effect of the past few episodes- I now hate Cordelia! I *never* hated Cordelia, even back in Season 1 when she was a huge bitch. I've always appreciated her wit and pretty much liked her. But all of her scenes with Darla? Urgh, I wanted to smack her face! I almost wish that Darla had finished her off (*eg*)...

Blue I definitely agree that the pure *shock* of her death was one of the worst things of all. I didn't read the wildfeed so I was in denial up until the last second-- even when she picked up the sliver of wood I thought 'No way is she really gonna do it...' You could have knocked me down with a feather afterwards. I just kind of and sat there and stared (and then I burst into tears, quite embarassing, lol).

Another good point about Holtz and Darla! It was always said that *she* was the one he really wanted. But did he even see her once? Actually... how close was he? Did he see her kill herself? Is there a chance that he didn't know what happened? (I would go back and check my tape but something happened with my VCR and it didn't tape the episode like I told it to, so thank god I actually watched it live this week =0 ) At any rate, there's no way that Darla and Holtz will be having a confrontation, and that's too bad. There was a lot of interesting potential there...


We're all saying that Darla died in the best way we could have hoped for, but... Maybe it should have been at the end of the Holtz arc after all. Blue I think you're right when you say they'll be a gaping hole in the show next week.
Angel + baby + Holtz - Darla = huh?

Finally, all I can say is, there better be more flashbacks. We can't be done with Darla/Julie Benz forever. We just can't be.
