The first contest, to take place on the evening of the 19th at 10pm CST will be Thalarion Races... The rules for such can be found on the Sardar Fairs page, but I will outline them briefly here. There will be no more than three riders per heat. Each rider will make three posts, going in order by the numbers they are assigned at the start of the race. At the end of the three posts, the last digits of each time stamp will be added together, and the rider with the lowest number will be declared the winner of that heat. Number of heats will be determined by the number of entrants. Cost of entry will be three gold per tharlarion entered in the race. First prize will be a tharlarion from the T.L.H. Stables. Second prize will take 25% of the entry fees, third place will take 10%, the house keeps the rest.
The second contest, to be held on Saturday (the 20th) and starting at 7:00PM CST to run until finished, will be a hand to hand combat tournament. No killing, no maiming, no broken bones hopefully. It will be using the Circle rules here on WM, with NO WEAPONS. Entry fee for this contest will be a gold coin, and will be judged by Me. The winner will receive a one month WM membership if there are less than 8 competitors, and a 3 month WM membership if there are 9-16 competitors. I won't be able to accomodate any more than that. Matches will be fought simultaneously, so BE THERE AT START TIME OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED! I will allow a 15 minute grace period from my clock, but we need to start this thing as close to on time as possible to have a hope of getting it completed in a reasonable time. Thirdly, taking place on Sunday (the 21st) evening at 7:00PM CST, will be a slave dance contest. Any who wish to enter must have the permission of their Master beforehand. Judging will be done by the Fair staff, and dancers should e-mail their entry request to the e-mail that will be specified at the bottom of this post, no later than the 18th. You will receive a reply via e-mail assigning you a number which you will use when it is time to perform. The entrance fee will be 2 silver per slave, delivered by their Master (although if the Master prefers this can be worked out in hours spent serving at the Fair to recoup the cost) PRIOR to competition (preferably not immediately before the slave dances, in public, as that would sort of give it away). The prize for this contest will be a 1 month WM membership for first place, a full set of Taharian slave garb for second place, and a simple but hand-crafted belled silver belly chain for third place. The membership can go either to the Master or the slave, at the Master's decision
