Hail Scions!!
I thankyou for your confidence in me, Cesard. I will endeavor to live up to it. I feel honored to take the reigns along with Celticpride and I know I have big shoes to fill.
As Cesard said on DAoC Central, we are in a rebuilding mode and I look to our officers to recruit new folks, while at the same time keeping things fun and exciting for our current members. Please look for scheduled plvl sessions for newbies and Guild RvR and PvE raids for the upper levels as we grow a few more. We are going to build on the strong foundation Cesard left for us.
Please email me or /send me in game whenever you have questions or issues. If there are problems, please help me help you work them out before things get out of control. We're all about having fun here, and if you're not having fun, then something's wrong and myself and the other officers are here to fix it.
I think things will get more exciting as the next patch or 2 will have Hibernia love for a change. Hopefully some classes will get fixed and those with lvl 50s can make new chars and try them out at at least 20.
When it comes to information on good leveling spots, what thpe of class does well at this or that, or where is a good plave to group, etc - myself and the other officers combined have a wealth of information for you.
Cesard, I will continue to seek your advice and assistance as we go and as your time availability permits.
I am still trying to "feel" things out and get a further understanding of things before any sweeping changes will be made. I will schedule an officer meeting very soon to assess where we are and where we need to go.
I am a "power down" leader so that means I trust the officers to handle issues within their authority at their level and just keep me informed. I cannot be everywhere at once all the time. All I expect is fairness and common sense. My ego is not easily injured so, if I am wrong on something, then tell me - I am big enough to take correction and make the best informed decisions. I urge everyone to re-read the rules and take them to heart. Especially the part about helping fellow guildies.
I urge the officers and higher-ups to aid the newbies - remember how frustrating it used to be when you didn't know how to play your character? I also recently created an alt and had a wonderful time as a lvl 17 bard only with a lvl 17 ment running aroung trying to kill a parth. It was hilarious. But I digress.. Playing a lower level char chan actually be very fun.
I think now is an exciting time to be a Scion. Thanks to Cesard, we all enjoy a tremendous reputation on the server and I hope to keep it that way. Fun times are ahead.
