She grasps Apex's hand gently but firmly, pausing a moment to push a loose strand of hair away from her face. Suddenly she pulls, shifting her stance slightly and gingerly flipping the other girl over her hip. She slows Apex's fall by pulling again, the girl landing first on her rear, then flopping back onto her back.

"Didn't expect that, did ye? Ye need to be. Anyone could do that to ye, and ye would end up hurt lots worse than ye are right now. Ye know how to fall? Didn't look like it, but I wouldn't blame ye if ye just didn't fall right because ye were surprised. Gods know that happened to me when I was in trainin'."

She smiles ruefully.
