We have areas still under flood warnings from rain and
snow melt Sunday night. We got 2"-3" of rain in 2-3 hours
on top of 6"-12" of snow. Some areas surpassed 1914 flood
levels. There were creeks above the guard rails on the
bridges. Luckily I'm on a higher area. I had a dr. app.
Monday and had to turn around or change directions about
six times to go fifteen miles. They used snow plows to
remove corn stalks that floated up on roads.
And of course rain predicted for Friday night, Saturday,
and Sunday with 2" more possible.
After all that rain, I still had some snow left from
waist high drifts from last week.
