Subject: Sidney is doing fine now

About a month a go, my poor Sidney hurt her front foot/leg. She couldn't hold on to the cage to get water & naturally old Rocky wouldn't let her. Her poor little foot was so swollen. So I moved her water bottle down to the bottom of the cage & set her up in a hanging fabric bag. Ever morning & evening I made sure she got some nuts, fruit & water. I thought for sure she wasn't going to make it but she was still eating, drinking & still loved her head scratches. After 10 days she started coming out to grab a snack, & some water. Her foot wasn't quite as bad. But now she got so skinny & her fur was getting matted. So I took a wet cotton ball & wiped her off. I'm happy to say now that she sleeping upstairs in her cage, climbing the cage walls, eating & drinking on her own & putting on weight. The only bad part is end of her tail is a little sparse. I think it's because Rocky is still chasing her around but now atleast she is standing her ground. I was so afraid that I was going to lose her. Well now she is back to being my spoiled brat. I take her out in the evenings & she spend acouple of hours on my loveseat underneath the cover. She is making a mess of the cover with chewed holes & other "special presents". What makes this so funny is that previously she loved to go hiding on that couch and old Mom didnt allow her go on that couch. Now Mom takes her over to that couch to play & nap.
