Oh my...he's at least 9 years old now. Maybe 10. I've never seen him lose this much hair. Earlier this afternoon he woke up and wanted out. So I opened the cage and he dove down my shirt to cuddle for a bit. Within a few minutes he popped back out and I knew something wasn't right. I put him back in his cage and within 30 seconds he was having what looked like to me as a seizure. He was chirping very loudly and flopping all about. He was running while flopping and once he made it to the top of the cage, he fell and slammed to the bottom of the cage (3'). I thought he was gone at that point but still seizing, he made his way to his box and finished in there. When I looked in he was upside down and wouldn't respond to me. Finally he showed signs of life. It took at least 15 minutes before he was fully responsive. He wouldn't come out of his box but he would at least acknowledge me. He's had these before but never this severe. I usually up his calcium - he doesn't get as much as he should. Picky eater no matter what I try. I was terrified that I had watched him die today. But he's still going...just not sure what to do.
