This has been known for years. Many pet birds have died after inhaling the fumes from Teflon...On bird keeper websites,this is common knowledge and anyone who has birds is warned not to cook above medium with Teflon and it's best not to house birds near the kitchen.
Oh,it can damage our lungs as well.
I have no Teflon in my house and threw it out when I had a pet bird years ago.abo
