As far as I know they won't grow back in if they fall out.
They do grow for the life of the squirrel to compensate
for wear from gnawing hard shell nuts and such.
If they are longer than normal they need to be trimmed
or he will have problems beside not being able to eat.
Lower teeth can grow into the roof of their mouth.
They have to have food to gnaw and keep the teeth worn
down. It takes hard shell nuts in the shell to do it.
