Cedar chips aren't good for pet cages but you can use them for moth control in a closet you don't have a flyer in, outside in flower beds, sprinkle over an area that may have fleas outside in the grass, my cousin uses them for his outside dog bed (in a double pillow case bed) to keep the dog from bringing fleas inside. You can sprinkle them around a garden plot and it keeps the crawling insects out of the garden too! You can put an open container of the chips in the outside storage area/shop of your house and it keeps the bugs/spiders out of it. Just a few suggestions for utilizing what you have since you have a big bag....hope it helps!
