Well even though I don't like the food chain all the time, without it I would have never discovered the southern flying squirrel. I know that my babies like nonsalted pumkin seed, pinenuts not too many peanuts I give those more as a treat. However I love to give peanuts to my grey ground squirrel. He loves to hide them in the yard. I want to get a feeder for the flyers in or near my yard I can hear them talk but can't see them. Not yet at least. Best of luck. .
