Thanks for the feedback. If I sit there long enough she will venture out of the cage and things seem to be back to normal. It used to be that I could just reach in and 'cup' her in my hand and set her on my lap. She usually runs from me now when I try that move... but it used to work.
So now I just open the cage door and wait...
I think I need more time with her, to build trust.
