Yes, cedar chips for bedding of any small mammals is outlawed for commercial operations in our state (I used to inspect them) because of that, and I wouldn't recommend them for personal pets either. We use aspen, no odor at all.

Our squirrel is definitely jealous of me. He's much more bonded to Pete. But, I REALLY got attacked when I changed birth control pills-it changed my smell, I guess...I'll have to try the dog whistle idea!
