I give my flyers all the cedar bark they can use to make their own nests. They instinctually strip it off the bark from cedar limbs I have in their living quarters and supplement their nests with it.

If true cedar is not found in N. America.. Where do you find cedar to give your flyers...?? The only one I am familiar with is the one that you clain is juniper. I do not give that to my flyers because it is extremely aromatic and I do worry about it causing respiratory distress. My vet told me I should never use this for my animals.
