Again, thanks everyone for the info. I did some research, and found advice in Good Housekeeping magazine (funny, it was the first time in over 2 years that I've looked at one of these, and I needed the info!). It was recommended that a household with ant problems buy Borax powder, mix it with sugar, and sprinkle it on trails, entrance points, around the house, etc. It said they would take it back to the nest and it'd kill them. I looked into your Terro suggestion, and discovered that it's simply liquified Borax and sugar!! So, for the price of the little bottle of Terro, I got a very large box of Borax 20 Horse Team laundry booster, mixed about 1/2 cup borax with about the same amount of sugar, and sprinkled away. The ants were somewhat interested at that point, especially since I practically made it impossible for them to NOT walk on it. Then I decided to wet a small bit of it and see what happened. Wow! They love it! They all immediately walked straight into it and started eating. So, again, if you prefer, it's more cost effective to get a big box of Borax, and then what you don't use on ants can be used to brighten your laundry, deodorize your toilet, trash can and refrigerator, and scrub your bathtub!
