*Both Kalear and Logan paddle on, breathing raggedly, their strength spent. It was down to the wire, the crowd shouting out encouregment. Seeing victory in site, both competitors pushed for a lead. Muscles pulled every last ounce of strength left in them trying to pull ahead by just a hair. Suspence builded as the 2 fastly approched the finish line neck in neck. The crowd held their breaths and time slowed for the swimmers. The finish line was crossed in a wall of spray, soaking the onlookers. Both Kalear and Logan had to laugh as the crowd sat puzzled. Who had won? Kalear laughed breathlessly as she extended a dripping paw to Logan* Truce matey? *The mongoose shook the paw heartily and chuckled along with the mink.* Aye, truce!
