How would it feel to grow up and be completely self-sufficient only to regress back to depending on others. The filly's jaw set resolutely, she would not make him feel like a burden. To tell the truth, she was perfectly happy to lead him from one end of the hideout to the other if he so desired. Her lips twitched into a self-deprecating smile. Oh how lonely she had been.
