Did you have any luck with your shoe patterns? I have been looking for cross stitch shoes FOREVER -- I found a book devoted to shoe patterns on Amazon.com, but it's been more than 6 months since I ordered it, and I still have nada!

Just a comment about Paula Vaughn patterns ... if you are a new cross stitcher, her work may not be ideal for a first-time project. She incorporates blending filaments and uses stitches other than cross stitches, such as three-quarter stitches, half stitches, quarter stitches, french knots and window sprays. However, if you're up for the adventure, then go right ahead and have fun!
