His eyes close, faintly opening them every so often. His mane flicks a little, showing he is alive. He turns his head and pain jets through like a crick in the neck.

*writes it down* This won't hurt a bit.. Just to let your body relax. *she fills a needle with a very mild dose of tranqilizer, but only enough to make him a bit drowsy* It's ok... *she gently gives him the shot.*

He panics, the shot wasn't enough. He whinnies out for Maxine or his herd One of the other. His legs thrash about and his heart rate grows.
