I agree as well. My car is a daily driver and I've eased up on the 3000 mile oil changes. I now change it every 5000 miles or so and the oil looks no worse for wear, so I'm going to stretch it a little further, perhaps to around 7 or so thousand. I do put a lot of miles on the car though.
