Subject: As long as we're talking antifreeze, what's the preference?
In reply to: Thom & The Great Dark Blue 's message, "Dexcool can harm older cars" on 09:10:44 12/06/01 Thu

As long as we're talking antifreeze, what brands do the members of the forum recommend. Also, anyone using Red Line water wetter? I'm using it in two cars now, and wonder what you guys think about that particular product too. I initially used it in a 944 because it was running a tad hot, I thought, and couldn't really tell if it was making any difference or not.

I'm about to check the antifreeze, and will probably do a flush and replacement soon, so I thought I'd check to see which brand seems to do best with the wasserpumpers.
