I don't want to be a pain in your a@@, but I was wondering about two things:

Firstly, what is the worst case scenario about the electricals (which is what is likely to be adversely affected in the floor of the interior compartment). Which electricals are located there and which aren't? For example, the stuff to do with the seat movement and some interior functions would be, but engine management functions etc. wouldn't be? Is there a list of what could be affected and what wouldn't be?

And secondly, could I prevent the adverse affects down the road by intervening with the repair process now, ensuring they do a proper job. For example, I could insist they replace certain parts. What would ensure the problems could be eliminated and prevented?

Basically, I'm reluctant to let such a beautiful machine go to the scrapheap without a struggle. Sorry to be a nag but the 928 has been my dream car for a long time, and here is a GTS which could be a terrific car. Basically, this would not be a commuter for me (I walk to work) and I would use it just to do some touring during decent weather.
