Some say the '89 GT is the best. It has no airbags, came with wider forged rims, straight cut gears, and limited slip. The '90 & '91 had PSD and the tire pressure warning which some consider too much electronics that can have problems. The '89 was more of a special edition s4 like the euro CS. In '90-'91 the GT was simply the 928 5-spd. There were only 50 '89 US GTs.
