Subject: Boxster owners

Well thus far, since the Boxsters inception, I have found the one cool owner on the planet. Just about twp hours ago, while driving east on Redondo Beach Blvd, I began to mix it up a little with an BMW Z3 M Roadster Coupe (or whatever it is). We were going light to light and that, coupled with my full fuel load put me at a distinct disadvantage. Mostly 1,2 shifts and then coasting to the next light. On one of the longer stretches of road I was able to finally pull decisively on the BMW and really give him a rearview mirror full of Shark.(I like to sit back and watch em run) At the next light, a Porsche Boxster pulls up, driver smiling, window down. I thought he was about to congratulate me on the handling of the BMW when he surprised me and said, "I never knew those engines could sound so sweet. I used to own one." I thanked him and gave him a thumbs up.

For the next two lights he followed me off my drivers side blindspot, windows down listening to the sweet tunes of my RMB. I lazily ran the car in first and second to let him hear the burbling sounds when I backed off the throttle. Pulled off for my appointment and when I glanced to my left saw his passenger side window going back up.

If I was truly succesful there should be another Boxster and BMW Z3 Coupe on a used car lot in LA somewhere.
