Subject: Hybrid

I wrote the westcoastvintage.com the poster of the Porsche/chevy hybrid on ebay. His "Buy it Now" price is $19,995. below is my reply to his: "Our cars are complete packages, perfectly balanced, backed up by extreme HP.
My 2200 pound 500hp 1967 can make a new twin turbo look foolish, and still be a comfortable high speed cruiser all day at 85mph.

Many of the finest sports cars of all time have been hybrids. The Cobra,
Pantera, Tiger, The McLaren's and Lotus's. We simply put together the best
of both worlds.

Thanks!

Oh, you are talking about 911s. 928s have always beaten them. The car in your re line (in this and the original post) is a 928, which have always been more genteel and are balanced as built, not hybids. They are made that way and don't have to be modified. If you are talking about HP, Mark Anderson's 5L is comparable I suppose, but a quarter mile isn't my thing.

I do think the name of your company is misleading -- "vintage" has another meaning to most.

On the 928 boards we are starting a pool as regards how many times you will re-list that mulatto, which is no longer a Porsche. "There is no substitute."
