Subject: Roof Antenna - Can't Find an Installer

I got good advice from the previous board on what to do to get a roof antenna installed on an 86.5 Shark. Now does anyone know where to get it done in the MD-DC area? Maybe Ed knows as I believe he lives in VA.

Here's the story:
The best advice was to have someone who knows what they are doing install it. So, after getting the Fuba from DEVEK, I made an appointment at one of the high end audio shops that claims that they specialize in Porsches, BMWs, etc. They took one look at the double wall roof and the proximity of the sun roof motor and put it back together saying "No way!" They said that only a dealer could do it. I went to the Porsche dealer in Cockeysville MD where they told me that they had never done one (honesty at least) and that they had no idea what they might get into. They said time on the job might run into a day or more... I did the math and I'm not willing to spend a day or more of what the flat rate would cost to get an antenna installed. I then went to a local shop that specializes in Porsches. They said that they didn't want to get into it because there are several relays up there to get wet if it happened to leak and any slip requires repainting the top of the car. Should I just can the whole idea?
