Subject: Fridge photos?
In reply to: Phil 's message, "cool" on 00:18:34 11/20/01 Tue

Do you have online photos of your "newly christened Fridge"?

I was just checking out Doug M.'s Pantera photos (terrific condition for a 1972!), also looked at his 928 (beautiful color) and 308 photo galleries. I was wondering whether people wanted to start listing Yahoo photo briefcases showing off their 928s. I'd certainly appreciate seeing up close details of various aspects of some different models, particularly since I'm trying to learn about what was standard or available on each model for each year.

Just to let you know what I'm generally looking for. Ideally a GTS but this is probably a pipe dream considering how much I'm willing to spend. So I'm probably looking for a 1989-1991 model. If you'd have asked me a while back whether I'd ever consider an auto, I'd respond with an emphatic "NO!", but given the proportions of autos/manuals sold, and the strength of the V8, I don't think I'll be losing too much by going with the auto (opinions?). I'd far prefer getting a model in good condition rather than focusing purely on getting a manual. I would hope to get a darker color (no reds!), ideally a blue with a lighter interior color; I saw a 1989 baltic blue with linen leather interior, AT, 65k mi, $19k, on AutoTrader the other day. If this was a 1990 or 1991 model, this would have been ideal. I guess I need to create a comprehensive list of what was and what was not included in each model year.

Cheers,

Rod
