My 911 mechanic in Ft. Lauderdale was Hans Mundt, the proprietor of HSM Racing, which he and his wife operated.

Hans was a former chief mechanic of the Porsche factory LeMans racing team in the 70's. He was truly a master mechanic and the quality of his work was magnificient.

He raved about Marvel Mystery Oil and told me every time he saw me to add 4 ounces to 10 gallons of gasoline.

He said it lubricated the top end of the engine: the fuel pump, injectors, intake valves, carbeuretors, etc. He also endorsed the use of Techron occasionally to keep the injectors clean, but absolutely insisted that I use MMO.

I don't put high miles on my 911 or my 928. It has been about 15 years since Hans first mentioned Marvel Mystery Oil, and I still add it to every tank full.
