Subject: Wanting to buy my FIRST

I've always wanted a 928!!!! Today I went to look at an 85, 92000, auto. Body excellant. Air not working was told a valve under dash. Main concern is a loud noise all the time car is running. Was told it was exhaust carriage. I don't know how to explain but it almost sounds like a roaring. Car runs good and shifts great. Ran the auto. through all the gears and it did well. Ran car to about 100mph and was smooth. BUT the noise is loud. In traffic with windows down it was too loud to listen to radio. $9500 Please give as much info as possible because I'm going to give answer tomorrow. Thanks for your replies.
