Subject: Dancing

"Okay, time ta' git' ta work." Jo Gibb said to herself. She walked out onto the stage and began stretching. First she worked on her splits. "Oh dear, I knew I should ave' worked on these more." She said finally making it all the way down. "Youch!" She said quickly getting back up. "That one urt'!"
Jo took a running leap and then went into series of cartwheels. "Now that's more my kinda' exercise!" She said to herself grinning.
She decided to do Victoria's solo dance, because she alway's found it made good practice. She lifted her foot behind her and grasped it in her hand, then began lifting it behind her back, higher, higher, "Whoooa!" She screamed toppling to the floor. She shook her head in disbelief. "What's the matter with me?" She said still sitting on the floor.
"First of all!" Came a voice. Jo looked around to see the dancing instructor coming towards her. Jo looked down emmbarrased. "First of all." She repeated. "That's not one of your parts!" "I know but!..." The instructor held up her hand. "And secondly, you need to work on your center of balance a bit. Get up!" She commanded.
Jo Gibb rose. "Now I want you to do exactly as a say...................................."
"Can I please stop now?" Jo Gibb begged. She had been standing on one foot for the past hour and a half.
"Not yet!" The dance Instructor commanded. "I will tell you when you can stop, and let me say, it wont be for a while!"
Jo grimaced, her leg was killing her.
