well, don't take away diapers until they are ready, recent studies (see doct. Brazleton book) has discovered that force a baby yo take away diapers will sign him in the entire life.
My daughter now is 10 and still use it at night.
I have never told her a single word about her diapers. she is smart, with excellent grades, helpful in the house and with a lot of friends.
she will grow out from diapers when she will be ready to do it, otherwise she can use 'em as long she wants.
