Subject: Riding Improvement in 2003.....

I want to make sure that this is the year I improve my riding more than ever before. The problem is, I don't own a horse and I'm stuck in a rut at my riding school. I'm going to move schools, but what can I do to make sure that this year I improve and become a much better rider, as when I'm older I want to be the best rider I can be. Not just at dressage, but everything, however, dressage is the basis of all disciplines. So if you've got any help please email me at riding4eva@hotmail.com
Thanx

this may sound stupid, but here' a few ideas!
-try as hard as possible to listen and do what your instructors say
-also, in your riding school, if you ride a particular horse, try as hard as you can to bond with that horse. i am riding a quite disagreeable horse myself, who almost killed me recently (lol). but i bond with her a little bit each day i go over and she gets a little bit better each time
-read up on what you're trying to learn (dressage, right?) and find out any tricks and everything about it then you know it inside and out. i don't know much about it, i reide western, but there's a few people around who might be able to help!
