Subject: need to know if my friend has a gf

i have a friend we were messing around for a while i had a feeling he always had a girlfriend but he said he didnt then 2 months ago he told me he needed time alone and now he doesnt call me but he says he still wants to be friends, but friends call each other i dont get it. does he have a girlfriend and does he have feelings for me? and will he want me again and leave his girlfriend and if yes when will he start talking to me and calling me and wanting me again, because i miss how we used to be thanks.
