Bayan Ko? I do not remember it being banned by former President Marcos. The song, however is older than the Marcos regime. If I am not mistaken, the song was composed during WWII or after it. Here is my unpoetic translation:

My land Philippines
Land of gold and flower
Love is at the palm of her hand
Offered beauty and maiden

enslaved

My land
imprisoned
suffered

My precious Philippines
Nest of tears and sufferings

Can you send me the lyrics? It has been a long time since I last sung it. I cannot remeber the words.
