Dont know how RHS is now, I graduated in 1970! Other than walking the halls between classes looking for cute guys or meeting the one we currently were going "steady" with, Memories are vague! But if I dig deep, Homecoming was fun, with a parade going down Woodson Road toward St. Charles Rock Road and then the dance that night. Sharing Lockers with a friend was fun especially if you were both slobs. Coach Schoeder's art classes were always interesting, I had him all 3 years. The "new" lunchroom came to be when I was there. Gym class was mandatory according to President Kennedy's Physical Fitness Program, the ugly blue gym outfits for girls werent too flattering, but we did some neat things in there, though there are questions in my and others minds, "Why did the P.E. teachers care whether we took full monty showers or not?" We actually had to show our butts to them as we walked out of the shower to show we were wet! Did anyone ever just get in and soap up, there was no time for that, so to get by the teacher we just splashed water on the back side. Enough said about that, I guess. I really think I enjoyed my years at Ritenour! Good Luck on your report. Susan (Scrutchfield) Chapman
