Subject: Visited St Louis & Ritenour

I hope everyone has had a happy Easter and a Spring break.
I just got back from a visit to St Louis. I hadn't been back to the ole stomping grounds around Overland for a few years. The High School sure looks great but, with all the new addditions and updates to it, I admit it's a bit different from the (64-66) school we attended. It has a really nice looking black rod iron fence all the way around the property with large square red brick pillars along it. Chuck-A-Burger is exacty the same as it was back then except the inside has been redecorated with 50s and 60s nostalgia decor. Across the Rock Road from Chuck-A-Burger is and Applebees resturant and east of Applebees a shopping center.

Ritenour Junior High (Middle) School has a completely new building and there is none of the old school left. The Handy House building is gone too. Marvin Elementary School also has a completely new building. I really enjoyed driving around the old neighborhoods of St John, Overland, Breckenridge Hills, and St. Ann and it brought back a lot of great memories. I also had a good time visiting downtown STL and went to the Art Museum, Tower Grove park, Lafayette park, the Arch, and the Soulard area.

I just drove back to Oklahoma and I'm resting up for work Monday..YUK! what a bummer... Maybe I need to go back to St.louis :-)
