I remember Mr. Boswell. But I can't remember what class I was in (I didn't take German). Maybe history? My impression is that I liked him a lot, but I don't recall any specifics. One of my favorites was my English Lit teacher, but I can't remember his name. He graduated from Purdue (I think) and told us about a story he wrote in college that was a Beowolf satire about a pancake with teeth that rolled across the countryside eating people (the people won out by drowning it in maple syrup). He made Lit fun. But I also appreciated that he was one of the few teachers that made me feel like I had any brains. If I ever when back, he would be the one I would want to talk with. I also really liked Allen Rose, the band teacher. He retired in '68. I know he got really frustrated with us sometimes (boy would his face turn red!), but there was something very lovable about him.
