While at Maryland, the University, for the sake of "prestige", did away with Professors that did not have PHDs. For a 400 lever Network Design class, I was stuck with an Indian professor. That fuck had the hardest accent to understand. I was really outraged that the University did away with Quality, i emphasize "Quality" professors, because they refused to go back to school to get a PHD. To make a long story short, one day, this fuck kept talking about a "karactar" ... "karactar" this ... "karactar" that ... finally, I got fed up and yelled at him, imitating his accent, "What the hell is a karactar". The class went silent ... he yelled back "karactar ... eh, ee, ay, ohh, you" ... I yelled back "ohhh CHARACTER" ... only fucking D I ever got while at UM.
