I mean, I work in commercial sales, pretty much days, monday thru friday, but black friday was already a taboo day to take off, even if we did no commercial business, because of the sales volumn in the store, I can see the handwriting on the wall, pretty soon, Thanksgiving will not be one of only 2 days the store is closed in the year, it will be another flex holiday we will be required to work if it falls on a weekday-- oh yeah, thanksgiving ALWAYS falls on a weekday. Hoping the position I am supposed to move to in the new year opens, that way I will no longer be a store employee.
