And I agree on the boycott. Facebook could use a DONT BUY ON THANKSGIVING PAGE.

The nation can survive one blue law day a year. And if we want to make a second one out of Christmas, that's fine with me. The holiday is more important to the nation, the
people, the culture and our common history that binds us together, than one or two days of retail...for which every single item will be sold anyway on another day.

However, federal labor law mandating triple pay per hour for hourly workers on either one of these days sounds like a reasonable alternative to me.

Didn't Charles Dickens have something to say on this subject? I seem to recall reading that HE unintentionally invented modern Christmas. His book changed the culture.
Lets listen to the dude, be this myth or not. Si non e vero, y ven trovato?
