I've been updating the links for our churches and I've
noticed that there is a LOT of pages. Each page has
their own message board with very little traffic.

I think that we should all use one message board & one
prayer board. If everyone is using the same board,
there'd be more traffic and more people praying in
unity for specific needs.

Naturally, the responsability of maintaining the boards
would be shared with each web editor. Ans yes, the
design would also be taken into consideration.

There use to be a prayer board, but there was hardly
any traffic and it was deleted. This message board
hardly sees any replys when people ask for prayer.
If we all use one message board, more people woule get
involved.

I forgot to mention one thing. When you visit some
of the pages for other churches, you get popup
ads for casions and other things. You want to go
to a church site, then you get 3 to 6 popup ads
distracting you from your page.

The Los Angeles church is running it's own server.
What does that mean? We have 60 gigabytes of space
and we're only using 30 gigs. There is room for a
LOT more pages, photos, music, etc.

If you are a wbe page editor or webmaster for a
church you can host your site on L.A.'s server.
You will have FULL AUTHORITY to design your site
the way you want it. The only difference is there
is no popup ads. And your address would be:
www.lachurch.net/mycity.html
There'd be no banner, no footer, no popup ads, no
nothing. Just a straight page the way you design
it. There'd be no access to the central CGI bin
for obvious reasons (one mistake, and buh bye
server).

If you're runing the site and there is no popups
then there is no need to do this. But I feel that
popup ads from casions, book stores, nsync, pink,
and etc. are all distractions.
